Principle Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develops, supports, and leads activities and programs on key equipment.
  • Works closely with vendors and OEM's on control system, PLC's, PC's and manufacturing related systems.
  • Recommends equipment and procedures to assist maintenance and facility personnel during breakdown activities.
  • Manages capital projects for facility, equipment and process improvements
  • Provides leadership for major manufacturing improvement programs.
  • Supports maintenance and facilities on non-routine tasks including project support, utility and facility upgrades.
  • Implements equipment and procedures for manufacturing processes to meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoots simple and complex electrical and control issues.
  • Key support resource for PM activities.
  • Capable of interpreting and preparing electrical drawings simple and complex.
  • Recommends and sources upgrades and solutions to aging control systems.
  • Stays abreast of new technology and leads implementation to remain competitive.
  • Routinely trains and develops maintenance staff mechanics and electricians.
  • Manages facility power working closely with utility companies and contractors.
  • Recommends major spare parts and manages associated budget.
  • Ensures major spare parts inventory is up to date and correct.
  • Ensures Environmental control systems are on line and operating to spec.
  • Prepares SOP's to define steps/controls for the manufacturing and controls process.

In order to be considered for the position, candidates should possess:

  • BS Electrical or related engineering discipline with 3-5 years of related experience in a related role.
  • Demonstrated drawing skills.
  • Demonstrated skills working with Siemens, Allen Bradley and similar drives and control systems.

  • Familiarity with HMI systems.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles/theories/formulas/standards/practices.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • This position is an opportunity to demonstrate manufacturing aptitude and positive behavioral attributes in a production capacity, with the intention of developing skills for potential career growth into higher level manufacturing jobs within the organization.
  • Continuous safe and efficient operation of one designated slitting machine model and/or specific product family, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
  • Continuous safe and efficient packing, shrink wrapping and spooling responsibilities.
  • Perform daily audits and accountable for quality.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Package ribbons to specification
  • Support inventory control by conducting daily inventory cycle counts and row audits
  • Order picking
  • Manifest customer's orders with shipping software and sorting boxes off the conveyor system
  • Stock and organize warehouse shelves following safety procedures
  • Perform routine transactions with shipping software
  • Operate warehouse machinery such as - pallet jacks, lifts, banding equipment, stretch-wrapper
  • Heavy equipment operation (forklift, reach-truck, walkie-rider)
  • Willingness to accept other warehouse duties as assigned

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

Principle Responsibilities:

 

. Convert IIMAK Customer specific Private Label designs & formats and product shipping labels from existing Label design software records into new records in NiceLabel (AX interface) label management system.

. Work closely, under the direction of a Document control leader, following a prescribed set of instructions to: Identify existing label formats / templates and design corresponding new labels in NiceLabel for each.

. Establish Links for new Label Configuration's elements to IIMAK data sources. Process multiple records against a task backlog.

. Additional tasks may be expanded as the progress of the Project Implementation expands.

 

Qualified Candidate Should Possess:

. Experience with PrintPro, NiceLabel or other conventional PC based Label design software packages is desirable but not essential for this opportunity.

. Possess a technical background (education) or work experience commensurate with developing graphics or logos.

. Fluency with Microsoft suite software packages such as Word or Excel.

. Familiarity with working in a Local Area Network and ability to navigate among various file directory locations with precision, as in a Microsoft environment.

. Solid computer skills, with PC software applications and exposure to Product definition data, experience with Graphics design software a plus.

. Have an aptitude to quickly absorb specific instructions; and then work independently with accuracy in a high detail assignment to complete a task backlog.
