Located in Amherst, NY and founded in 2003 as a Division of International Imaging Materials, Inc. (IIMAK), iiMED offers outsource manufacturing solutions for Class I & Class II medical device consumables such as orthopedic bracing, sterile & non-sterile supplies, compression therapy devices and patient mobility products. The manufacturing facility in Reynosa, Mexico is ISO-13485 & FDA Registered and supports a broad range of Medical OEMs with high quality medical device production. We currently have an opportunity as an Account Manager. This person would be based within the iiMED team at IIMAK’s worldwide headquarters located in the Amherst, New York.

Position Summary:
As a member of the iiMED Sales Team, you will be responsible for the recruitment and management of OEM & Strategic Accounts within a specific geographic territory or market segment. In this role, you will be responsible for growing and managing current Accounts and OEM prospects that may range from $100,000 to several million dollars in annual revenue.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow sales for assigned accounts/prospects. Effectively utilize selling tools to further penetrate accounts.
  • Establish clear territory plan which includes managing existing accounts and prospecting for new accounts. Identify accounts in territory and competitor share within accounts.
  • Effectively position iiMED as an industry leader, expand product reach and promote iiMED value-added services.
  • Coordinate iiMED personnel across multiple functions to develop and deliver differentiated customer value.
  • Good judgment and discretion in managing sample, travel and entertainment expenses to budgeted levels.
  • Analyze territory and account data, and then develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans to maximize revenue and profitability. Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure the plans are implemented accordingly.
  • Effectively analyze database information and utilize information to identify buying trends, opportunities and concerns.
  • Coordinate the available company resources to execute effective account management plan.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for communicating sales progress, results and activity within account territories.
  • Responsible for the attainment of established sales goals and management of business aspects related to the territory or segment (price, margin & expenses).
  • Travel as required, up to 50%.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree, preferably an MBA, a plus.
  • Medical Device market knowledge expected.
  • Technical understanding of Medical Device Consumables & FDA Regulations is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of successful business-to-business sales experience required (Contract Manufacturing Sales, a plus).
  • Proven track record in demonstrating excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels within an account.
  • Ability to identify revenue and margin growth opportunity; prepare and propose plans.

This person would be based in a home office, or if they reside in the Buffalo area would work from the worldwide headquarters located in the Amherst, New York facility.

Position Summary:
Responsible for growing sales of IIMAK’s industrial inks business that is focused on primary and secondary coding technologies, such as Continuous Inkjet, Hi-Res, and Drop-On-Demand inkjet fluids, printers, and service agreements. Responsibilities include managing and growing existing accounts, as well as developing new products, markets, and customers. Entrepreneurial spirit and a will-succeed attitude are essential for success in this position.
 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Growing sales of IIMAK’s industrial inks business that is focused on primary & secondary coding technologies, such as CIJ, TIJ, Hi-Res, and DOD fluids, printers, and service agreements.
  • Develop new customers and business opportunities, as well as account management for existing customers, to ensure IIMAK achieves/exceeds its business goals.
  • Coordinate IIMAK personnel across multiple functions to develop and deliver differentiated customer value.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develops, supports, and leads activities and programs on key equipment.
  • Works closely with vendors and OEM’s on control system, PLC’s, PC’s and manufacturing related systems.
  • Recommends equipment and procedures to assist maintenance and facility personnel during breakdown activities.
  • Manages capital projects for facility, equipment and process improvements
  • Provides leadership for major manufacturing improvement programs.
  • Supports maintenance and facilities on non-routine tasks including project support, utility and facility upgrades.

Title: Manufacturing - Shipping / Receiving Clerk

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the shipment of finished goods per OFS or alternative shipment documents.  Process OFS orders, generate packing slips, bills of lading, tally sheets, shipper’s letter of instruction and other documents.
  • Collect and verifies count, pieces and weight of shipments.
  • Stretch wrap all pallet for shipment. Load trucks/containers.
  • Responsible for the receipt of incoming goods, unloading trucks, verifying count, pieces and three way match.
  • Process all receiving transactions transaction in required systems.
  • Move goods to warehouse locations. Movement of goods between outside warehouses.
  • Interact extensively with planning, logistics, purchasing, customer service and others to coordinate shipment of finished goods or receipt of goods.
  • Process receipts against purchase orders in AX/RF Smart or MP2.                                                           
  • Enter goods in Lot Tracker database as required. Print, apply and provide pallet labels.              
  • Cycle count assigned warehouses/areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain neat, clean organized work areas and other areas of responsibility.
  • Bulk tank unload backup.

 

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.  Advanced education is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehousing experience within IIMAK. Shipping and/or receiving experience a plus.

  • Dangerous Goods Certification (IATA CFR-49)
  • Basic understanding & knowledge of import/export fundamental requirements.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor will provide technical support and direct supervision to manufacturing operations to meet business needs and achieve a competitive manufacturing environment. Main responsibilities will be providing daily technical support to operations, employee management, and developing, maintaining, and improving processes for new and existing manufacturing procedures, including process control initiatives. 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ Primary responsibility is for the Safety, Quality, and Productivity of the Processing and Converting departments.
ߦ Support/lead process improvement/Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to improve production efficiency and quality.  
ߦ Identify opportunities and lead initiatives for process improvements and participate on capital projects teams and in research and analysis of new and existing systems, procedures, etc.
ߦ Provide daily technical support to the assigned manufacturing area. 
ߦ Responsible for the proper training of employees for maximum efficiency and outstanding quality. 
ߦ Maintains and enforces Company and Safety Policies.
ߦ Trains, develops, and evaluates employees.
ߦ Meet budgeted expense targets and performance goals.
ߦ Coordination of staffing for assigned departments. 
ߦ Continuously interacts with support departments on Production related issues.
ߦ Sets high standards for plant housekeeping and enforces compliance.
ߦ Verifies employee timesheets for accuracy.
ߦ Provide support/coverage to other Production Supervision including off-shift coverage as needed.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

ߦ BS Engineering or related technical discipline, coupled with 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing role.
ߦ Prefer 2+ years of experience in supervision or relevant leadership role.
ߦ Ability to work assigned shift: D-Shift (7:00pm-7:00am, every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday)
ߦ Work schedule flexibility to optimize cross shift communication and interaction with all peers and direct reports.
ߦ Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
ߦ Above average communication skills. Keeping Management well informed as events occur.
ߦ Strong leadership, analytical, and mentoring skills.
ߦ Must exhibit initiative, decisiveness, and self-motivation with the ability to assume responsibility.
ߦ Excellent organizational skills.  Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and priorities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain the painted surfaces of the entire IIMAK facility including indoor and outdoor surfaces, equipment, floor lines, offices, and other areas and surfaces while providing basic support to other facility needs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work areas through good housekeeping practices throughout the entire facility.
  • Performing general basic maintenance tasks on facility and manufacturing equipment, including all aspects of, plumbing, painting, roof repair, carpentry, dry wall, and additional miscellaneous duties.
  • Offer availability and flexibility to work off hours as needed in order to fulfill work orders. Includes potentially nights and/or weekends.
  • Assist in resolving basic mechanical issues and performing necessary maintenance tasks on facility and manufacturing equipment. 
  • Assisting on basic manufacturing equipment Preventative Maintenance downtimes.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years professional painting experience (commercial, residential, automotive, etc.). 
  • Ability to work outside and inside facilities during all seasons.
  • Experience with operating lift equipment and the ability perform tasks at tall heights.
  • Experience with using other commercial and industrial painting equipment (sprayers, etc.)
  • Ability to work an altered schedule to accommodate business needs, as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage daily tasks.
  • Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities.

POSITION SUMMARY:A Print Lab Technician is responsible for supporting IIMAK’s products through performance testing, competitive benchmarking, & product development testing. 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and interpret data, summary reports and charts.
  • Troubleshoot issues with printing systems when needed for customers as well as in the various IIMAK test labs. 
  • Performs and records a variety of tasks and experiments using a wide range of procedures under the general supervision of the lab manager, engineer or other technician(s), including support to other areas as needed.
  • Perform application testing.
  • Support the development of product test lab spaces, acting as a technical expert to other staff in the proper use of equipment, product information, procedures, etc.
  • Support product development through performance testing, specification development and testing of SOPs.
  • Assist in the design of new systems, processes, product or equipment through new product testing, customer interaction, and work experience.
  • Perform color matching tasks.
  • Conduct training with QA techs and other technical support staff on product specifications, and technical issue resolution.
  • Provide technical support to sales, customer service, and directly to customers through application tests, competitive product identifications, and printer troubleshooting.
  • Conduct product training/demonstrations with both internal and external customers.
  • May involve travel to customer sites.
  • Perform periodic maintenance on lab equipment as needed, including cleaning tasks.
  • Perform process and product audits, and generate reports of findings.

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • Associates degree required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred (technical or graphic design degree ideal).
  • 2+ years of technical experience working with printing technologies (experience working as a graphics/digital print operator ideal).
  • Solid math and statistical skills. 
  • Familiarity with digital printing systems, thermal transfer technology or other printing technologies.
  • Knowledge of color measurement and printing software ideal.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good analytical and PC and MAC skills, including MS Office Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and RIP software a plus)
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Good understanding of  the Scientific Method and other statistical methods for analyzing and reporting data

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the shipment of finished goods per OFS or alternative shipment documents.  Process OFS orders, generate packing slips, bills of lading, tally sheets, shipper’s letter of instruction and other documents.
  • Collect and verifies count, pieces and weight of shipments.
  • Stretch wrap all pallet for shipment. Load trucks/containers.
  • Responsible for the receipt of incoming goods, unloading trucks, verifying count, pieces and three way match.
  • Process all receiving transactions transaction in required systems.
  • Move goods to warehouse locations. Movement of goods between outside warehouses.
  • Interact extensively with planning, logistics, purchasing, customer service and others to coordinate shipment of finished goods or receipt of goods.
  • Process receipts against purchase orders in AX/RF Smart or MP2.                                                           
  • Enter goods in Lot Tracker database as required. Print, apply and provide pallet labels.              
  • Cycle count assigned warehouses/areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain neat, clean organized work areas and other areas of responsibility.
  • Bulk tank unload backup.

 

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.  Advanced education is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehousing experience within IIMAK. Shipping and/or receiving experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of AX, OFS, MP2 Clippership, Shipping Solutions, UPS Worldship, and other business systems.
  • Dangerous Goods Certification (IATA CFR-49)
  • Basic understanding & knowledge of import/export fundamental requirements.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IIMAK products / services and shipping / inventory procedures.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience a plus.
