Additional manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities are located in Mexico, Belgium and Brazil.   We currently have an opportunity to join IIMAK as an Account Manager.  This person would be based in a home office ideally in IL, WI or MN, or if they reside in the Buffalo area would work from the worldwide headquarters located in the Amherst, New York facility.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the recruitment and management of OEM & Strategic VAR Accounts as well as a geographic territory in IL, WI, and MN.  Position is responsible for growing and managing the assigned territory of approximately 100 accounts and prospects including distributors and OEMs. Accounts each have an approximate annual potential of $200K and could exceed $1.0M.  The entire territory is valued at $8.0M - $15.0M.

Principal Responsibilities:
ߦ Manage and grow sales of printing, imaging and marking consumables for assigned accounts and prospects.  Effectively utilize available selling tools to further penetrate these accounts.
ߦ Establish clear territory plan which includes managing existing accounts and prospecting for new accounts. Identify accounts in territory and competitor share within accounts.
ߦ Conduct trainings for distributor sales reps on product offerings, uses and sales opportunities.  Effectively position IIMAK as an industry leader, expand product reach and promote IIMAK value-added services.
ߦ Coordinate IIMAK personnel across multiple functions to develop and deliver differentiated customer value.
ߦ Good judgment and discretion in managing sample, travel and entertainment expenses to budgeted levels.
ߦ Analyze territory and account data, and then develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans to maximize revenue and profitability.  Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure the plans are being       implemented accordingly.
ߦ Effectively analyze existing database information and utilize that information to identify buying trends, opportunities and concerns. 
ߦ Coordinate the available company resources to execute effective account management plan.
ߦ Prepare reports and presentations for communicating sales progress, results and activity within account territories.
ߦ Responsible for the attainment of established sales goals and management of business aspects related to the territory (price, margin, product mix, expenses, etc.).
ߦ Travel as required, approximately 50%.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:
ߦ Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree, preferably an MBA, a plus.
ߦ Minimum of 5+ years of successful business-to-business sales experience required (consumable product sales). 
ߦ Proven track record in demonstrating excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
ߦ Ability to successfully interface with all levels within an account.
ߦ Ability to identify revenue and margin growth opportunity; prepare and propose plans.
ߦ Ability to work independently with limited supervision and use of good judgment in making sound business decisions and recommendations.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                                                                                                            

  • Review new orders for material availability and release shop orders for production.
  • Ensure that appropriate ROQ’s are released and that optimum efficiency opportunities identified.
  • Monitor daily schedule for assigned products.
  • Work with manufacturing group to prioritize workload based upon machine capacity and available manpower.
  • Provide changes and deviations when required.
  • Expedite orders through production to meet customer requirements. 
  • Interface with partner planning departments to ensure schedule can support requirements.
  • Communicate with shipping personnel product availability and customer shipping issues.
  • Focal point within planning for sample scheduling and prioritization.
  • Focal point within planning for customer return administration. Work closely with customer service, QA and accounting.
  • Work with other planners on other miscellaneous projects                                    
  • Develop and utilize broad understanding of planning functions with ability to serve as a back-up for vacations, etc. as needed. 

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Package and shelve all finished products
  • Rotate stock using FIFO method (First In/First Out)

Position Summary:
Responsible for growing and managing an assigned territory of distributor accounts. Also responsible for accepting & managing inbound phone calls and website inquiries for potential distributors within assigned geographic region. Accounts and prospects have an approximate annual potential of less than $250K and the territory is valued at approximately $1M – $3.0M.

Responsibilities Include: 
ߦ Manage and grow sales of printing, imaging and marking consumables for assigned accounts within geographic territory. Additional “named” accounts may be included in territory. 
ߦ Effectively utilize available selling tools, marketing support to penetrate accounts while maintaining accurate contact database, market share data and account notes.
ߦ Accurately segment accounts by market share or potential within territory into A, B and C tracks which defines the schedule for outbound calling and marketing activities.  
ߦ Maintain a consistently high level of outbound calls per week.
ߦ Develop customized PowerPoints for trainings or business reviews, conduct trainings via phone/conference call, webinar or in person for distributor sales representatives. 
ߦ Provide pricing, sales collateral, product literature, samples and complaint resolution as needed.
ߦ Accountable for managing business aspect of territory related to price, margin, product mix and expenses.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Solid PC skills
  • Forklift certification a plus

(IIMAK) is an industry expert and one of the largest North American manufacturers of thermal transfer ribbons, which are used in a wide range of high growth markets including bar coding, thermal fax, color computer graphics and security authentication.  IIMAK’s global operations have nearly 600 employees worldwide, and are headquartered in Amherst, New York.  We currently have an opportunity as a Material Distributor.   

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Operate all material distribution equipment in the warehouse
  • Daily safety inspection of material handling equipment and battery charging/changing station
  • Issue and return materials to production and inventory locations
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and location audits
  • Utilize hoist and crane system
  • Utilize personal computers, printers and wireless barcode scanning equipment
  • Use software including Microsoft Dynamics AX, IMS, Slitting Dispatch, Slit Specification database, Lot Tracker, leaderstrip & bintag label printing software, Windows, and Excel
  • Perform direct labor tasks in Production including jumbo packing, shrink-wrapping, packing and core cutting
  • Routinely perform all essential Point duties in slitting
  • Complete quality, safety and housekeeping audits as directed

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • 6 months of general warehouse experience required
  • Forklift and electric pallet-jack experience preferred
  • Inventory control experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interface with all production departments to ensure material requirements are correct and on time to avoid machine downtime.
  • Good PC skills, Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus.
  • Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) required.
  • Ability to work both independently and in team environment.
