POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for providing technical leadership in the procurement of materials and services from approved suppliers at the most economical cost of ownership consistent with maintaining high standards for quality, reliability, and delivery requirements and supplier relationships.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, qualify, and source materials from both domestic and off shore suppliers. Champion the qualification of new raw materials and suppliers.
  • Review planned purchase order outputs from ERP system, execute PO's, action message outputs from ERP system and expedite, delay and cancel PO's as needed. Maintain trade agreements in ERP system.
  • Plan and prepare and oversee formal requests for quotation/proposals (RFI, RFQ, RFP); review RFI, RFQ, RFP using landed cost/price and other techniques for the purpose of presenting data or making recommendations. Develop and write purchase contracts as necessary.
  • Maintain on-going supplier relationships including supplier performance metrics.
  • Develop and leverage purchases to achieve lowest landed cost, delivery schedule, and inventory objectives.
  • Assist in analyzing market supply/demand trends and delivery conditions to determine present/future material availability and pricing.
  • Responsible for supplier negotiations and identification of cost effective alternative materials.
  • Responsible for the oversight of direct raw material, and other goods and services as assigned.
  • Analyze inventories and develop strategies to improve turns

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Professional certification, a plus.
  • 2+ years of sourcing experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Excellent verbal, written, electronic and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of purchasing law and contract terminology and business in general.
  • Effective experience in successful supply agreements and contract negotiations.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • This position is an opportunity to demonstrate manufacturing aptitude and positive behavioral attributes in a production capacity, with the intention of developing skills for potential career growth into higher level manufacturing jobs within the organization.
  • Continuous safe and efficient operation of one designated slitting machine model and/or specific product family, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
  • Continuous safe and efficient packing, shrink wrapping and spooling responsibilities.
  • Perform daily audits and accountable for quality.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
  • Daily equipment/tool inspection and accountability.
  • Monitor equipment status and communicate issues to Lead and Supervisor in timely manner.
  • Communicate equipment, product quality and job status to oncoming shift.
  • Other converting tasks as directed, such as Auto Relief Operator for breaks and lunch.

 

Qualified Candidate Should Possess:

Position Summary:  The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site support for continuous inkjet (CIJ) and large character printers, plus training support to: Customers, Independent Service Technicians (IST’s) and Distributors. This position will be based in Odessa, FL and requires substantial travel (primarily regional). Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to; providing phone support to customers and IST’s, pre-site evaluations, servicing and installing printers, training operators and maintenance personnel; non-routine projects/tasks. The Field Service Technician must be a self-starter, motivated and highly organized.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Direct on-site field service support; maintenance, training, repairs
  • Support in-house efforts for testing a preparing new printers for install
  • Provide phone support to customers & IST’s

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • Technical AAS or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in field service support, ideally with CIJ (Continuous Inkjet); proficient to start servicing customers immediately.
  • Above average communication skills; professional interaction with customers, IST’s, sales partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple directives, tasks and priorities.
  • Self-starter with high energy, enthusiastic personality who can work independently.

  • Operate and maintain solvent distillation system.
  • Operate and maintain production equipment cleaning system.
  • Clean and evaluate parts and drums; plan parts/drum-washing schedule accordingly.

  • Maintain the parts/drum staging areas while in communication with support groups
  • Perform and understand the internal and external procedures.
  • Execute plan for the handling, labeling and care for the plant-wide flow of Hazardous Waste.

Position Summary: Responsible for growing and managing an assigned territory of approximately 400 distributor accounts. Also responsible for accepting & managing inbound phone calls and website inquiries for potential distributors within assigned geographic region. Accounts and prospects have an approximate annual potential of less than $250K and the territory is valued at approximately $1M – $3.0M.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and grow sales of printing, imaging and marking consumables for assigned accounts within geographic territory. Additional “named” accounts may be included in territory.
  • Effectively utilize available selling tools, marketing support to penetrate accounts while maintaining accurate contact database, market share data and account notes.
  • Accurately segment accounts by market share or potential within territory into A, B and C tracks which defines the schedule for outbound calling and marketing activities.
  • Maintain an outbound call metric of 50 calls per week.
  • Develop customized PPPT for trainings or business reviews, conduct trainings via phone/conference call, webinar or in person for distributor sales representatives.
  • Provide pricing, sales collateral, product literature, samples and complaint resolution as needed.
  • Accountable for managing business aspect of territory related to price, margin, product mix and expenses.
  • Analyze territory and account data, then develop and implement strategic and/or tactical account plans to maximize revenue and margin performance.

Position Summary: Directly supervises the day-to-day operations and executes talent management programs to attract, train and develop top inside sales professionals and to ensure optimum level of workforce engagement. Coaches team on negotiation techniques; from gathering information from multiple resources through demonstrating control and understanding of customer needs to achieve “win-win” outcomes. Responsible for growing and managing an assigned territory in parallel with managing the inside sales team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for the management and performance of the Inside Sales team. Assist with oversight of order processing, pricing, coaching sessions, training, recruiting, problem resolution, etc.
  • Instill a culture of “hunting” with a desire for prospecting, cold calling, opportunity development and closure. Account acquisition is a key priority.

  • Sets and executes inside sales objectives, goals with direct responsibility for monitoring established targets. Responsible for monitoring and execution of plan activities to ensure sales targets and goals are achieved.
  • Develops and monitor medium/short-term sales forecasting and measurement processes that incorporate complex market variations to support the overall organization’s strategy and goals.
  • Leads and oversees the tactical deployment and execution of sales targets and performance program(s). Consolidates and monitors aggregated team performance and addresses performance gaps.
  • Execute on all administrative sales duties associated with assigned accounts in order to meet/exceed service level expectations of base customers. Including but not limited to account related orders, account set up, servicing, call management, internal & external customer inquiry management.
  • Travel to accounts as needed - Manage any travel expenses related to assigned account

Required Qualifications:

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Troubleshooting and repairing of all facility and manufacturing equipment to include: electronic drives, PLC’s, motor circuits, and various items associated with automated equipment.
  • Completion of mechanical equipment repairs/troubleshooting, including; bearings, general machine parts, pneumatic systems, piping systems.
  • Repair and install electrical systems, apparatus and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment following electrical codes, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications using hand tools, power tools and electrical and electronic testing equipment.
  • Calibration of industrial, electrical and electronic components, test equipment and related machinery.
  • Work schedule is on one of our four, 12 hours shift schedules
     
    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • AAS degree and applicable experience with electrical and/or electronic technology OR minimum of five years of experience in an electrical/electronic shop, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Must have working knowledge of National Electrical Code, PLC’s, electronic drives, calibration and testing of a wide variety of electrical/electronic components.
  • Ability to test & troubleshoot analog and digital electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Demonstrated hands-on mechanical repair abilities: welding, alignment knowledge, HVAC, boilers, machining and other mechanical skills a plus.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively, with minimal supervision.

(IIMAK) is an industry expert and one of the largest North American manufacturers of thermal transfer ribbons, which are used in a wide range of high growth markets including bar coding, thermal fax, color computer graphics, security authentication and digital glass decoration.  IIMAK’s global operations have over 1,000 employees worldwide, and are headquartered in Amherst, New York.  IIMAK headquarters is located in Amherst, New York and we currently have opportunities to join IIMAK as a Point Person.

 

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interprets the slitting dispatch to prioritize requisition of needed materials from the warehouse; print corresponding documentation such as specs, quality bulletins, deviations, requisitions, job card, start jobs in AX, etc.
  • Complete material requisition forms and deliver them to the warehouse.
  • Print leaderstrip, bintags, circular labels and core labels as needed.
  • Update slitting dispatch throughout the shift indicating staged and completed jobs and quantity produced; update slitting dispatch at shift’s end with individual machine ribbon counts.
  • Supply all machines with enough material to keep running through to end of shift and into oncoming shift for a minimum of 3 hours.
  • Return material from production operations to the warehouse and core cutting area.
  • Issue and return short length jumbo material to/from the production floor peg location.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts of the production floor peg location.
  • Make and maintain a daily minimum inventory of EURO boxes on the production floor.
  • Identify and segregate substandard jumbo material issued to slitting that would otherwise generate excessive slit ribbon rejects.
  • Coordinate with planning and supervision to identify specific machines and/or part numbers to salvage substandard jumbo material to minimize slit ribbon rejects and maximize yield.
  • Communicate to oncoming shift via documented passdown.
  • Perform production and material distribution job duties as needed including daily lunch/break relief on converting equipment.

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • One year in current position at IIMAK.
  • One year of material handling and/or slitting operator experience preferred.
  • Experience with software; AX, slit dispatch, lot tracker & TTR label printing a plus.
  • Positive interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various departmental personnel including document control, QA, planning, slitting, coating, packaging and the warehouse.
  • Good organizational skills, including ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Good math and reading skills.
  • Basic PC skills in Windows and Excel.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Operation of equipment in a safe manner at all times; safety procedures are followed.

Qualified Candidate Should Possess:

  • Processing Associate – Minimum of one year applicable machine operation experience required with demonstrated mechanical aptitude through machine changeover, setup and troubleshooting
  • MSC Operator – Minimum two years of coating and web conveyance experience required
  • Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures, specifications and follow instructions
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Solid PC skills
  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Processing Associate offers an entry level opportunity to be trained and develop in the coating process and if successful, may lead to promotional opportunities as a Utility Operator or MSC Operator.

 

Candidates must be able to work any of our 24 x 7 shift schedules – Current openings will most likely be on overnight shifts: B-Shift (7pm-7am Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Saturday); D-Shift (7pm-7am Wed, Thu, Fri and every other Saturday).
