Douglas C. Wagner

President and Chief Executive Officer

Doug Wagner assumed his current position of Chief Executive Officer and President in April 2015 after serving as President of IIMAK since October 2012. Doug also serves on IIMAK’s Board of Directors. Doug re-joined IIMAK in 2007 as Senior Vice President of North America Sales and Marketing and was promoted in 2010 to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. From 1996-1998, Doug held the position of OEM Account Manager at IIMAK. Prior to re-joining IIMAK in 2007, Doug spent nine years with Avery Dennison Corporation in their Retail Information Services (RIS) Division last holding the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Europe, Middle East & Africa where he was based in the UK. Doug began his career working for the United States Department of State serving as a member of the Foreign Service at U.S. Embassies in Tunisia, Guatemala and Saudi Arabia. Doug holds an undergraduate degree in International Studies from West Virginia University.


Joseph G. Perna

Chief Financial Officer
Senior Vice President, Finance, Secretary and Treasurer

Joe joined IIMAK in May 2000 as Manager, Tax and Analysis and was promoted to Controller in May 2003. In May 2007, he was promoted to Vice President – Finance, Secretary and Treasurer and in July 2008 he was promoted to his current position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining IIMAK, Joe was a Manager at KPMG LLP, where he spent 7 years in public accounting. Joe is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and has an undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA with a concentration in Professional Accounting from Canisius College.


Susan R. Stamp

Senior Vice President
Human Resources and Administration

Sue Stamp joined the Human Resource Department at IIMAK in 1991 and was promoted to Director, Human Resources in 1993, Vice President Human Resources in 1996 and to Senior Vice President in 2003. Sue’s responsibility expanded in 2007 to include IIMAK’s Information Technology Group. Prior to joining IIMAK, Sue had over ten years of HR experience in various positions at the Linde Division of Union Carbide and Goldome Bank. Sue previously served as an Employment Consultant for Horizon Human Services and on the Board of Directors for the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and Buffalo Hearing and Speech.

Daniel Harrison

Daniel J. Harrison, PhD

Senior Vice President
Research and Development

Dan Harrison joined IIMAK in 1998 as Vice President, Technical Operations and was promoted to his current role in 2009. Dan holds fifty-five US patents in the field of digital printing and imaging and has developed various new thermal imaging technologies at IIMAK. He has also contributed to IIMAK’s efforts in the development of inks and coatings to expand the IIMAK Inks product offering. Prior to joining IIMAK, Dan spent 16 years at Kodak as a pioneer in the field of digital photographic thermal imaging. Dan holds a PhD in Polymer Materials Science from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from William E. Simon School of Business. He has held a lecturer position at the University of Rochester where he taught a graduate level course on Polymer Surfaces and Adhesions.


Richard Johnson

Richard J. Johnston

Senior Vice President
US Manufacturing

Rick Johnston joined IIMAK in 1995 and was promoted to his current position in 2011. During his time at IIMAK, Rick has held various positions including Senior Process Engineer, Director of Facilities & Engineering and Director of Quality Assurance. Rick has thirty years of industry experience ranging from product and process development to operations management in inks, coatings, and organic and inorganic chemical manufacturing. Prior to joining IIMAK, Rick spent nine years in engineering and production management roles at Occidental Chemical, CP Chemical and Airco Carbon. He is an ASQ Certified Quality Manager and holds Bachelor Degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.


Luc L. A. Lachat

Managing Director
IIMAK Europe

With operations located in Geel, Belgium, Luc Lachat was appointed to Managing Director of IIMAK Europe in November 2008 after serving as Finance and Operations Director of the startup of IIMAK’s European operation in 2000. Prior to joining IIMAK, Luc held several senior leadership positions in finance for US based companies operating in Europe. Luc holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting.


Marcos M. Mendes

Marcos Mendes joined IIMAK with the acquisition of In Press Technology, Inc. in 1999. Prior to joining IIMAK, Marcos founded, owned and managed In Press Technology and was a customer of IIMAK. Once part of IIMAK, Marcos held the position of Vice President, Sales until 2004 when he was named President of IIMAK da Amazonia with responsibility for all of IIMAK’s Brazilian operations located in Rio de Janiero, Sao Paulo and Manaus. Marcos holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Santa Ursula University and an MBA from PUC Catholic University. He recently completed a course on creating and managing strategic alliances at the Kellogg School of Management.


Jose R. J. Morlin

Sales and Marketing

José Morlin was promoted to the position of Vice President, Sales and Marketing TTR in 2015 and is responsible for thermal transfer ribbon sales and marketing in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific regions. José joined IIMAK Europe in 2002 as Sales Manager and was promoted to Sales Director of the European business. José graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Napier University, Edinburgh, Scotland. He previously worked for European subsidiaries of Hewlett Packard and Gerber Scientific Inc.


Gregory Gotthelf

iiMED Medical Manufacturing Solutions

Gregory Gotthelf joined IIMAK in late 1991 as an Engineering Intern. Since that time, he has held various operational, engineering and quality roles of increasing responsibility, including his most recent as Vice President, MMS Programs, Engineering and Compliance for iiMED. In 2016, Gregory was promoted to his current position, Vice President of iiMED. Gregory graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and went on to pursue his Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.


Scott Surma

Scott J. Surma

Vice President
Business Development

Scott Surma joined IIMAK in 2006, holding positions of General Manager, Director of Business Development, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing NA. He assumed his current position in 2015 and is responsible for driving growth of IIMAK Inks, as well as identifying and executing on new business opportunities and acquisitions. Additionally, Scott is responsible for growth and expansion of IIMAK IDISA in Mexico. Scott is a graduate of Michigan State University, and holds an MBA in Strategic Management from DePaul University. Prior to joining IIMAK, Scott had eight years of experience at Pilkington North America in supply chain and sales management.


Pablo Garza Valdez

General Manager
IIMAK IDISA Mexico

Pablo Garza Valdez joined IIMAK in late 2013 with IIMAK’s acquisition of Industrial de Informatica (IDISA), a long-time customer of IIMAK in Mexico. Since 2010, Pablo held the position of IDISA’s Commercial Manager. In early 2015, Pablo was appointed to his current role with responsibility for IDISA operations located in Mexico City and Querétaro. Pablo has twenty years of commercial experience and holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana.
