New NET Flex™ Ribbons for Imprints on Flexible Packaging

Amherst, NY, October 15, 2009 – IIMAK, a leading international manufacturer of imaging consumables has introduced NET Flex™ thermal transfer ribbons for printing date, price, lot, and bar codes directly on flexible packaging.

NET Flex produces bolder, blacker imprints on a wide range of uncoated and top coated packaging films. Its unique anti-static formulation promotes sharp, crisp text, and reduces static discharge so packing lines can run at faster speeds. NET Flex is designed to perform at standard darkness settings for most coders so no printer adjustments are necessary.  With print speeds up to 24ips, Net Flex is compatible with thermal transfer coders used for flexible packaging applications including snack, fresh produce, pharmaceutical, and others. 

The NET Flex line features black, white, and silver thermal transfer ribbons to color coordinate imprints with brand packaging.  Other ribbons available for flexible packaging include NETMark IQ, NET Color, and  NETResin IQ for higher durability.
