Position Contributions

  • Meet and exceed sales goals within geographic territory.
  • Responsible for growing and managing an assigned territory of distributor accounts.
  • Accepts & manage inbound phone calls and website inquiries for potential distributors.
  • Effectively utilize CRM and other tools for account management.
  • Keep current on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and competitive information.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of outbound calls per week.
  • Provide pricing, sales collateral, product literature, samples and complaint resolution as needed.
  • Analyze territory and account data, then develop and implement strategic and/or tactical account plans to maximize revenue and margin performance.
  • Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate low-share accounts. Take market share from our competitors
  • Submit Accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts.

Continuous Improvement Engineer

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is an innovative, technical, and results oriented professional responsible for helping to develop and implement a continuous improvement culture for IIMAK while driving process enhancements, efficiencies, and cost improvements across the organization. The incumbent will partner closely with key stakeholders throughout IIMAK, to lead improvement efforts, while coaching and mentoring employees through training, event facilitation, action plan follow-up, project management and results documentation for sustainability.

Position Contributions

  • Responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams engaged in continuous improvement activities of the company using standard methods for value creation and waste elimination in accordance with industry standard strategic deployment of Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Identifies, develops and leads continuous improvement projects, in support of organizational objectives, and delivers sustainable improvements that translate to positive financial results for the organization.
  • Investigates core business processes, develops recommendations for improvement and facilitates the implementation of action plans to deliver results.
  • Organizes a comprehensive list of improvement initiatives as approved by the executive leadership team, estimate benefits and explain risks, prioritize based on business need, and deliver successful programs that that return benefit to the company.
  • Works in collaboration with IIMAK team members, at all levels, to fully assess current state and future state opportunities while bringing colleagues along as key contributors to successful outcomes.
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement-based workshops to drive the identification of ideas and solutions across the organization, solving business problems and innovating our manufacturing operations
  • Ensures that all necessary and applicable documentation is updated and properly stored.
  • Regularly communicates projects, leads tollgate meetings, and updates executive leadership and key stakeholders on project status, roadblocks, and delivery of commitments.
  • Maintains and creates appropriate documentation for reports, project execution, and data analysis.
  • Keep the customer top of mind when making decisions internally.
  • Cultivates and promotes a strong continuous improvement culture across IIMAK and challenging the status quo.
  • Some travel, up to 10% (including international).

 

Expected Experience and Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment supporting or leading Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma strongly desired
  • Demonstrated experience in lean tools and structured problem solving
  • Proven track record of business process projects to achieve business results
  • Advanced experience utilizing business process tools including Excel/Word, PowerPoint, CAD< Visio
  • Strong analytical skills with a mechanical aptitude

Principal Responsibilities:
ߦ Accountable for the inspection, maintenance and repair all facility HVAC equipment.
ߦ Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on HVAC equipment and make the associated repairs.  Replace filters, fuses, belts, motors, bearings, compressors, heat exchangers, valves and system controls as required.  Coordinate repairs with outside mechanical contractors as needed.
ߦ Perform daily checks and maintenance on plant systems including steam boilers, cooling towers, chilled water and compressed air systems.
ߦ Follow and document a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure all equipment is operating properly and efficiently.  Make recommendations on future equipment modifications, upgrades and purchases.
ߦ Initiate equipment work orders in the work order management system.  Maintain and complete work orders with labor hours, parts used and a record of completed tasks.
ߦ Performing general maintenance tasks on facility and manufacturing equipment including all aspects of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, roof repair, carpentry and other duties as assigned.
 
 Qualified Candidate Should Possess:
(qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job) 

ߦ Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems.  Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, track through documentation and train individuals in regard to HVAC systems. EPA approved Section 608 Universal Certification required. 
ߦ AAS degree (mechanical or facility field preferred) or 5+ years of applicable, hands-on experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment.
ߦ Working knowledge of plant support systems (compressors, chillers, boilers).
ߦ Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.  CAD experience, a plus.
ߦ Self-starter must be able to work with minimal supervision.
ߦ Provide outstanding customer service.
ߦ Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
ߦ Excellent problem solving abilities.
ߦ Ability to work an altered schedule as needed, to accommodate business needs.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ Prepare all inks and backings, to include TTR and Fluid Inks.
ߦ Responsible for testing, inventory control, equipment monitoring and cleaning.
ߦ Perform quality control testing of in-process and finished ink and backings.
ߦ Support Engineering and Manufacturing on ink initiatives,

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

ߦ AAS degree (mechanical or facility field preferred) or 5+ years of applicable, hands-on experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment.
ߦ Journeyman mechanic certification, a plus, machinist certification preferred.

ߦ Hands-on experience with bearings, pumps, pneumatics, valves and piping.  Web coating and converting machinery preferred.
ߦ Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Operate material distribution equipment in the warehouse
  • Issue and return materials to production and inventory locations
  • Utilize hoist and crane system
  • Utilize personal computers, printers and wireless barcode scanning equipment
  • Use software including Microsoft Dynamics AX, IMS, Slitting Dispatch, Slit Specification database, Lot Tracker, leaderstrip & bintag label printing software, Windows, and Excel
  • Daily safety inspection of material handling equipment and battery charging/changing station
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and location audits
  • Perform direct labor tasks in Production including jumbo packing, shrink-wrapping, packing and core cutting
  • Perform all essential Point duties in slitting, when required
  • Complete quality, safety and housekeeping audits as directed

Position Contributions

  • Formulate inks for our fluid inks division which specializes in coding, marking, wide format printing, and other applications
  • Experiment with new raw materials to examine their potential to enhance product performance
  • Identify offsets to existing raw materials
  • Measure inks physical properties and report on the results
  • Design experiments to address key technical issues with guidance from the senior technical staff
  • Analyze results of experimental work and draw initial conclusions for discussion at team level meetings
  • Experiment with and recommend new test methods and laboratory equipment and instrumentation for facilitating product development
  • Work with manufacturing engineering to transfer technology to improve ink making and coating processes
  • Develop SOP’s in support of new products and processes
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Impact we are looking for in first 90 days:This individual should integrate themselves with internal team members, learn the product offerings, and gain a basic understanding of the current status of IIMAK’s R&D portfolio and priorities
 

Key Attributes and Characteristics

 

  • Associate’s degree in a Chemistry related discipline, or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years technical experience in a lab preferred
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and standard laboratory procedures required
  • Ability to apply the scientific process to resolve technical problems
  • Knowledge of Statistics and Design of Experiment methodology as applied to chemical formulations and the ability to perform standard analysis of the data is desired
  • Experience with aqueous inkjet inks with pigments preferred
  • Some knowledge of fluid ink technology is desired
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with internal customers and interact effectively with all levels in organization.
  • Ability to work well within in a team and use good judgment in making sound business decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Position Contributions

  • Responsible for accurate order entry within Esker
  • Effectively manager inbound and outbound customer phone calls, emails and website inquiries within assigned geographic region.
  • Troubleshoot any customer issues related to IIMAK’s product offerings, orders, returns, or quality
  • Effectively utilize CRM and other tools for account management.
  • Proactively search for opportunities to alert customers to new products or solutions to help solve their business challenges
  • Keep current on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and competitive information.
  • Provide pricing, sales collateral, product literature, samples and complaint resolution as needed.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Continuous safe and efficient operation of auto slitting machines and shrink wrap cell, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
  • Perform daily audits and accountable for quality.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
  • Daily tool inspection and accountability.
  • Monitor machine status and communicate issues to Lead and Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Communicate to oncoming shift via verbal and written passdown.
  • Pack, as required.
  • Report as finish product into inventory when finish product is completed.

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • Minimum six months machine operation experience required.
  • Previous auto slitter, dusenbery or Faes experience required; experience with robotics a plus.
  • Good math and reading skills, including the ability to interpret slitting specifications and standard operating procedures.

  • Basic computer skills, AX knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of packing requirements preferred.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inventory audit, consolidation and replenishment on a daily basis within the Distribution Center
  • Receive/transact ribbons from production into inventory
  • Transport material between 310 Commerce and Northpointe Distribution Center
  • Operate all material handling equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, pallet trucks and company trucks
  • Daily inspection and minor preventative maintenance of the IIMAK trucks to ensure compliance with all applicable D.O.T. regulations and traffic laws
  • Provide direction and work assignment to Distribution Coordinator as necessary
  • Assist in the Northpointe Distribution Center as needed
  • Transport material between 401 Creekside and 310 Commerce using truck during inclement weather
  • Stock and organize warehouse shelves following safety procedures
  • Perform routine transactions with shipping software
  • Willingness to accept other warehouse and distribution center duties as assigned

 

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:

  • Valid, active driver’s license with clean driving record (must be able to successfully complete the LENS driver certification for commercial motor vehicle operation).
  • Previous experience working in a similar role (warehouse or truck driver) preferred.
  • Inventory control experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility/adaptability, including a high degree of ownership and personal commitment.
  • Experience utilizing AX (or similar system), Excel and wireless barcode scanners a plus.
  • Experience operating a straight truck with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) up to 26,000lbs preferred.

  • Support inventory control by conducting daily inventory cycle counts and row audits
  • Order picking
  • Manifest customer’s orders with shipping software and sorting boxes off the conveyor system
  • Stock and organize warehouse shelves following safety procedures
  • Perform routine transactions with shipping software
  • Operate warehouse machinery such as - pallet jacks, lifts, banding equipment, stretch-wrapper
  • Heavy equipment operation (forklift, reach-truck, walkie-rider)
  • Willingness to accept other warehouse duties as assigned

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

  • General warehousing experience
  • Solid computer skills
  • Good organizational and communication skills
