(IIMAK), IIMED offers outsource manufacturing solutions for Class I & Class II medical device consumables such as orthopedic bracing, sterile & non-sterile supplies, compression therapy devices and patient mobility products. The manufacturing facility in Reynosa, Mexico is ISO-13485 & FDA Registered and supports a broad range of Medical OEMs with high quality medical device production. We currently have an opportunity as an Account Manager. This person would be based within the IIMED team at IIMAK’s worldwide headquarters located in the Amherst, New York.

Position Summary:

As a member of the iiMED Sales Team, you will be responsible for the recruitment and management of OEM & Strategic Accounts within a specific geographic territory or market segment. In this role, you will be responsible for growing and managing current Accounts and OEM prospects that may range from $100,000 to several million dollars in annual revenue.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales for assigned accounts and prospects. Effectively utilize available selling tools to further penetrate these accounts. 

  • Establish clear territory plan which includes managing existing accounts and prospecting for new accounts. Identify accounts in territory and competitor share within accounts.

  • Effectively position iiMED as an industry leader, expand product reach and promote IIMED value-added services. 

  • Coordinate iiMED personnel across multiple functions to develop and deliver differentiated customer value. 

  • Good judgment and discretion in managing sample, travel and entertainment expenses to budgeted levels.

  • Analyze territory and account data, and then develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans to maximize revenue and profitability. Conduct periodic account reviews to ensure the plans are implemented accordingly.

  • Effectively analyze existing database information and utilize that information to identify buying trends, opportunities and concerns.

  • Coordinate the available company resources to execute effective account management plan.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for communicating sales progress, results and activity within account territories.

  • Responsible for the attainment of established sales goals and management of business aspects related to the territory or segment (price, margin & expenses). 

  • Travel as required, up to 50%.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree, preferably an MBA, a plus.

  • Medical Device market knowledge expected.

  • Technical understanding of Medical Device Consumables & FDA Regulations is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of successful business-to-business sales experience required (Contract Manufacturing Sales is a plus).

  • Proven track record in demonstrating excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to successfully interface with all levels within an account.

  • Ability to identify revenue and margin growth opportunity; prepare and propose plans.

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and use of good judgment in making sound business decisions and recommendations.

  • Proven record of closing profitable negotiations.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
  • Package ribbons to specification
  • Support inventory control by conducting daily inventory cycle counts and row audits

  • Manifest customer’s orders with shipping software and sorting boxes off the conveyor system
  • Stock and organize warehouse shelves following safety procedures

  • Continuous safe and efficient operation of one designated machine model and/or specific product family, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain the painted surfaces of the entire IIMAK facility including indoor and outdoor surfaces, equipment, floor lines, offices, and other areas and surfaces while providing basic support to other facility needs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work areas through good housekeeping practices throughout the entire facility.
  • Performing general basic maintenance tasks on facility and manufacturing equipment, including all aspects of, plumbing, painting, roof repair, carpentry, dry wall, and additional miscellaneous duties.
  • Offer availability and flexibility to work off hours as needed in order to fulfill work orders. Includes potentially nights and/or weekends.
  • Assist in resolving basic mechanical issues and performing necessary maintenance tasks on facility and manufacturing equipment.
  • Assisting on basic manufacturing equipment Preventative Maintenance downtimes.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years professional painting experience (commercial, residential, automotive, etc.).
  • Ability to work outside and inside facilities during all seasons.
  • Experience with operating lift equipment and the ability perform tasks at tall heights.
  • Experience with using other commercial and industrial painting equipment (sprayers, etc.)
  • Ability to work an altered schedule to accommodate business needs, as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage daily tasks.
  • Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare all inks and backings, to include TTR and Fluid Inks.
  • Responsible for testing, inventory control, equipment monitoring, cleaning and preparation of reports.
  • Perform quality control testing of in-process and finished ink and backings.
  • Support Engineering and Manufacturing on ink initiatives,
  • Help establish run rates and scrap loss for new fluid ink processes
  • Build production inks to meet customer demands
  • Monitor ink room equipment during operation and clean equipment when job is complete.
  • Insure proper storage, recording and stock rotation of both raw materials and finished inks.
  • Communicate with coating department on quality of materials which are being produced.

Position Summary:

Responsible for leading and managing IIMAK’s North America Thermal Ink Jet and Fluid Inks Consumables Sales Team in successfully achieving sales results through disciplined execution of sales strategies. This includes nurturing customer relationships, measuring sales team performance, developing a growth strategy and executing the sales plan. Also responsible for gathering and interpreting market and competitive intelligence, interfacing with key members of the management team on forecasting, pricing, planning, customer requirements and quality concerns.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Successful execution of the North America Ink Jet and Fluid Inks Consumables sales plan.

  • Oversee Product Management, determination of development projects, drive commercialization and launches.

  • Coordinate with Marketing Department to ensure optimal support for related product ranges.

  • Develop growth strategies for optimal positioning in a competitive market.

  • Develop exceptional product line familiarity and industry understanding

  • Drive an effective opportunity funnel including systematic lead generation, processed and reviewed through CRM.

  • Provide staff coaching and identify development opportunities for staff.

  • Prepare the necessary internal reports and presentations for executive level business reviews.

  • Support international subsidiaries Ink Jet and Fluid Inks efforts.

  • Manage some key accounts, where appropriate. Travel as required, approximately 40%.

Qualified Candidates Should Possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in managing, leading and developing a sales team, preferably from a consumable supplies industry. Experience in digital printing of coding and marking, fluid inks or ink jet technology a plus.

  • The drive to achieve positive results with an ability to anticipate and respond to threats or opportunities that might affect business performance; proactive and confident in ability to initiate action when necessary.

  • High energy and self-motivation are essential in the success of this role.

  • Ability to manage the complexities of selling across sales channels, supporting OEMs, distributors and end users.

  • The demonstrated ability to solve problems, analyze sales trends and identify issues and ask questions to elicit useful information; systematically evaluate problems and encourage alternative approaches and new ideas. Strong negotiation skills required.

  • A successful track record of working with customers and cross-functional teams to identify, specify and lead the strategy in the launch of new products.

  • Proven success interfacing with, and building relationships with, all levels of internal and external organizations.

  • Strong PC skills to include MS Office including Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Strong numerical and skills – handling of diverse measurement calculations. Experience of CRM, Sales Automation.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for providing business and technical leadership in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers at the most economical cost of ownership consistent with maintaining high standards for quality, reliability, and delivery requirements and supplier relationships.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, qualify, and source materials from both domestic and off shore suppliers.
  • Plan and prepare and oversee formal requests for quotation/proposals (RFI, RFQ, RFP)or recommend suppliers for order award; negotiate final terms and conditions of the contract or PO.  
  • Maintain on-going supplier relationships including supplier performance metrics. Analyze and resolve supplier related issues including quality and service performance.
  • Develop commodity sourcing and supplier strategy plans.
  • Analyze market supply and demand trends and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and pricing.
  • Develop annual raw material standards and track purchase price variances.
  • Responsible for the oversight of direct raw material, and other goods and services as assigned.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement procurement system improvements and contracting methods.
  • Lead cross-functional teams or supplier teams to meet company goals and objective.

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD:

  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA or professional certification preferred.
  • Global purchasing experience in the PET films, chemicals, resins, dyes, wax and pigments markets a plus.
  • Experience with MRP based purchase planning and P.O. execution and inventory management.
  • 7-10 years of sourcing experience in a manufacturing purchasing environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, electronic and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of purchasing law and contract terminology and business in general.
  • Effective experience in logistics, successful supply agreements and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to set annual purchasing objectives and Purchase Price Variance goals. Ability to lead cross-functional teams in material and supplier qualification.
  • Strong PC skills with knowledge of advanced Excel or Access databases a plus.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the shipment of finished goods per Order Fulfillment System or alternative shipment documents. Collects and verifies count, pieces and weight of shipments. Process all shipping transactions in required systems and prepares all shipping documents required.
  • Responsible for the properly receiving of goods into facility, checking for damage and safety concerns and conducting 3-Way Match of receipts and notifies Purchasing of any discrepancies.
  • Process all receiving transactions in required systems. Move goods to warehouse locations and between outside warehouse locations. 
  • Interfaces extensively with Jumbo Packing, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, R&D, Engineering and carriers to coordinate shipments.
  • Interface with freight forwarders to coordinate exports.
  • Process and prepare documents for Hazardous Shipments.
  • Back up for Bulk Solvent deliveries.

 

QUALIFIED CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:

(Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.  Advanced education is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Shipping/Receiving experience required.
  • Valid, active driver’s license with clean driving record (must be able to successfully complete the LENS driver certification for commercial vehicle operation).
  • Basic understanding & knowledge of import/export fundamental requirements.
  • Dangerous Goods Certification (IATA CFR-49); willingness to attain certifications required for shipping.
  • Experience preparing standard shipping documents and hazardous material shipping documents.
  • General Warehouse experience, preferably within IIMAK, a plus.
  • Knowledge of IIMAK products, services, shipping/inventory procedures and business systems.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work alone as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
