PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ Prepare all inks and backings, to include TTR and Fluid Inks.
ߦ Responsible for testing, inventory control, equipment monitoring and cleaning.
ߦ Perform quality control testing of in-process and finished ink and backings.
ߦ Support Engineering and Manufacturing on ink initiatives, 
ߦ Help establish run rates and scrap loss for new fluid ink processes
ߦ Build production inks to meet customer demands
ߦ Monitor ink room equipment during operation and clean equipment when job is complete.
ߦ Insure proper storage, recording and stock rotation of both raw materials and finished inks.
ߦ Communicate with coating department on quality of materials which are being produced.
ߦ Ability to perform effectively in a team environment.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

ߦ Previous experience in a production environment, mixing, dispersing operations preferred. 
ߦ Ability to understand specifications, identify products and follow recipe and instructions.

(IIMAK), IIMED offers outsource manufacturing solutions for Class I & Class II medical device consumables such as orthopedic bracing, sterile & non-sterile supplies, compression therapy devices and patient mobility products. The manufacturing facility in Reynosa, Mexico is ISO-13485 & FDA Registered and supports a broad range of Medical OEMs with high quality medical device production. We currently have an opportunity as a Business Development Manager. This person would be based within their assigned territory, Eastern or Western United States.

Position Contributions

  • Establish a clear territory plan which focuses on prospecting for new accounts. Identify accounts in territory and competitor share within accounts.
  • Define and negotiate the terms of the contracts/programs and ensure support and approval from all stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Effectively position iiMED as an industry leader, expand product reach and promote IIMED value-added services.
  • Good judgment and discretion in managing travel and entertainment expenses to budgeted levels.
  • Analyze territory and account data, and then develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Effectively analyze existing database information and utilize that information to identify buying trends, opportunities and concerns.
  • Coordinate the available company resources to execute effective account management plan.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for communicating sales progress, results and activity within account territories.
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities through the participation in conferences and business events (virtual or in person).
  • Responsible for the attainment of established bookings goals and management of business aspects related to the territory or segment (price, margin & expenses).
  • Travel as required, up to 50%.

Key Attributes and Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree, preferably an MBA, a plus.
  • Must have previous experience in Medical Device Contract Manufacturing.
  • Technical understanding of Medical Device Consumables & FDA Regulations.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of successful business-to-business sales experience required
  • Ability to successfully interface at all levels within large corporations

The Business Systems Analyst is ultimately responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and documentation of the software applications and components that support the business needs of the company.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

The Continuous Improvement Engineer is an innovative, technical, and results oriented professional responsible for helping to develop and implement a continuous improvement culture for IIMAK while driving process enhancements, efficiencies, and cost improvements across the organization. The incumbent will partner closely with key stakeholders throughout IIMAK, to lead improvement efforts, while coaching and mentoring employees through training, event facilitation, action plan follow-up, project management and results documentation for sustainability.

Position Contributions

  • Responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams engaged in continuous improvement activities of the company using standard methods for value creation and waste elimination in accordance with industry standard strategic deployment of Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Identifies, develops and leads continuous improvement projects, in support of organizational objectives, and delivers sustainable improvements that translate to positive financial results for the organization.
  • Investigates core business processes, develops recommendations for improvement and facilitates the implementation of action plans to deliver results.
  • Organizes a comprehensive list of improvement initiatives as approved by the executive leadership team, estimate benefits and explain risks, prioritize based on business need, and deliver successful programs that that return benefit to the company.
  • Works in collaboration with IIMAK team members, at all levels, to fully assess current state and future state opportunities while bringing colleagues along as key contributors to successful outcomes.
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement-based workshops to drive the identification of ideas and solutions across the organization, solving business problems and innovating our manufacturing operations
  • Ensures that all necessary and applicable documentation is updated and properly stored.
  • Regularly communicates projects, leads tollgate meetings, and updates executive leadership and key stakeholders on project status, roadblocks, and delivery of commitments.
  • Maintains and creates appropriate documentation for reports, project execution, and data analysis.
  • Keep the customer top of mind when making decisions internally.
  • Cultivates and promotes a strong continuous improvement culture across IIMAK and challenging the status quo.

Expected Experience and Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment supporting or leading Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma strongly desired
  • Demonstrated experience in lean tools and structured problem solving

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager is responsible for all aspects of safety. The EHS Manager will ensure that IIMAK meets and exceeds all requirements pertaining to all environmental / OSHA regulations, policies, and procedures.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ 24/7 manufacturing facility responsibility
ߦ Administer Safety Ambassador program
ߦ Administer safety training and Safety Talk program; research, author, distribute and facilitate talks.
ߦ Develop policies, procedures and protocols to maintain compliance; drive continuous improvement in the safety culture.
ߦ Report and review findings from accident investigations, facilities inspections, or environmental testing. Make recommendations to address any situations of concern.
ߦ Perform monthly on-shift audits to focus on a safe and incident free workplace
ߦ Monitor, audit and report on compliance with OSHA required programs
ߦ Conduct New Hire Safety Orientation
ߦ Identify opportunities to prevent injuries, improve workplace safety and follow through on programs.  
ߦ Assist in preparing monthly safety meetings
ߦ Perform internal audits of EHS activities to evaluate compliance and input corrective actions as needed.
ߦ Review and update JSAs plant-wide

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

ߦ Four year degree or equivalent experience in related discipline plus applicable training such as Industrial Hygiene certifications (CSP or CHCM), Emergency and/or Hazardous Materials certification.
ߦ 3+ years’ experience of managing Environmental, Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience in driving a safety culture.
ߦ Previous experience in claims management administration and loss prevention required.    
ߦ Knowledge of and experience with information privacy laws, access, and release of information required. 
ߦ Working knowledge of regulatory requirements, strong interpersonal and communication skills, general math and computer skills, and ability to provide solutions through suggestions for process improvement.

Position Contributions

  • Develop new and/or improved product formulas or procedures in conjunction with guidelines outlined by department management.
  • Support and/or provide technical leadership to cost & quality control programs.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to peers and/or subordinates.
  • Conduct process or formulation analyses.
  • Responsible for full projects from concept stage to commercialization
  • Plan and deliver presentations to other employees, management, technical meetings or customers.
  • Conduct analytical studies and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Assist in writing patent applications and responding to Patent office actions.
  • Communicate directly with departmental management on process, equipment, or other improvement suggestions.
  • Apply the scientific process, knowledge and experience to resolve technical problems.
  • Prioritize work to meet deadline and align with project goals while working under pressure
  • Document test results, specifications and procedures in a standard professional format
  • Create strong relationships with internal/external groups, as well as external vendors
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Impact we are looking for in first 90 days:This individual should integrate themselves with internal team members, learn the product offerings, and gain a basic understanding of the current status of IIMAK’s R&D portfolio and priorities
 

Key Attributes and Characteristics

 

  • Ph.D degree in Chemistry or related discipline
  • 3-5 years’ experience in ink and coating formulation, prefer aqueous DTG ink experience and other water base experience. Inkjet experience highly preferred
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of analytical methodologies required to design a formulation or process
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with stage gate process
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with internal customers and interact effectively with all levels in organization.
  • Knowledge of Polymer Science, Adhesion, Surface Science, Paint and Coating Technology, Imaging Science, Photography, Digital Imaging, Digital Inks or equivalent disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze complex data, and solve problems where appropriate.
  • Proven track record of successfully scaling and transferring technology from lab to commercial scale.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment, quickly learning new techniques and processes.
  • Strong sense of teamwork, passionate for group success, and reliable to take on last-minute tasks.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ Continuous safe and efficient operation of auto slitting machines and shrink wrap cell, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
ߦ Perform daily audits and accountable for quality.
ߦ Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
ߦ Daily tool inspection and accountability.
ߦ Monitor machine status and communicate issues to Lead and Supervisor in a timely manner.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:
(Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)
ߦ Minimum six months machine operation experience required.
ߦ Previous slitter or splitter experience preferred; experience with robotics a plus.
ߦ Good math and reading skills, including the ability to interpret slitting specifications and standard operating procedures.
ߦ Demonstrated, good troubleshooting skills.
ߦ Basic computer skills, AX knowledge preferred.
ߦ Knowledge of packing requirements preferred.
ߦ Possess positive interpersonal skills to perform effectively in a team environment.
