PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ Prepare all inks and backings, to include TTR and Fluid Inks.
ߦ Responsible for testing, inventory control, equipment monitoring and cleaning.
ߦ Perform quality control testing of in-process and finished ink and backings.

Founded in 2003 as a Division of International Imaging Materials, Inc. (IIMAK), IIMED offers outsource manufacturing solutions for Class I & Class II medical device consumables such as orthopedic bracing, sterile & non-sterile supplies, compression therapy devices and patient mobility products. The manufacturing facility in Reynosa, Mexico is ISO-13485 & FDA Registered and supports a broad range of Medical OEMs with high quality medical device production. We currently have an opportunity as a Business Development Manager. This person would be based within their assigned territory, Eastern or Western United States.

Position Contributions

  • Establish a clear territory plan which focuses on prospecting for new accounts. Identify accounts in territory and competitor share within accounts.
  • Define and negotiate the terms of the contracts/programs and ensure support and approval from all stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Effectively position iiMED as an industry leader, expand product reach and promote IIMED value-added services.
  • Good judgment and discretion in managing travel and entertainment expenses to budgeted levels.
  • Analyze territory and account data, and then develop and implement strategic and tactical account plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Effectively analyze existing database information and utilize that information to identify buying trends, opportunities and concerns.
  • Coordinate the available company resources to execute effective account management plan.

The Business Systems Analyst is ultimately responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, maintenance and documentation of the software applications and components that support the business needs of the company.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Full software development life cycle from requirements gathering, design and development, to testing and deployment.
  • Maintain legacy / develop new software applications
  • Support reporting environment / Create user reports and management reporting interfaces

IIMAK headquarters is located in Amherst, New York and we currently have opportunities to join IIMAK as a Facility Mechanic.  

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ Maintain the painted surfaces of the entire IIMAK facility including indoor and outdoor surfaces, equipment, floor lines, offices, and other areas and surfaces while providing basic support to other facility needs. 
ߦ Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of work areas through good housekeeping practices throughout the entire facility.
ߦ Performing general basic maintenance tasks on facility and manufacturing equipment, including all aspects of, plumbing, painting, roof repair, carpentry, dry wall, and additional miscellaneous duties.
ߦ Standard hours of Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.  Availability and flexibility to work off hours as needed in order to fulfill work orders.

  • Knowledge of analytical methodologies required to design a formulation or process
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with stage gate process

Position Contributions

  • Responsible for accurate order entry within Esker
  • Effectively manager inbound and outbound customer phone calls, emails and website inquiries within assigned geographic region.
  • Troubleshoot any customer issues related to IIMAK’s product offerings, orders, returns, or quality
  • Effectively utilize CRM and other tools for account management.
  • Proactively search for opportunities to alert customers to new products or solutions to help solve their business challenges
  • Keep current on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and competitive information.
  • Provide pricing, sales collateral, product literature, samples and complaint resolution as needed.

 

Impact we are looking for in first 90 days:This individual should integrate themselves with internal team members, learn the product offerings, and independently enter/review standard customer orders

Key Attributes and Characteristics

 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
  • Must be able to demonstrate a persistent, assertive & confident approach towards selling.
  • Strong analytical and PC skills. Experience with Excel Pivot Tables and CRM software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with customers and interact effectively with all levels in organization.

Position Contributions

  • Hand on development chemist with responsibility for bringing new products and technologies from concept to commercialization.
  • Work with laboratory technicians and process engineers to develop thermal transfer ribbon products.
  • Work with Operation and QA teams to access product feasibility and path to full-scaled production.
  • Provides manufacturing, QA, and customer technical support for commercial products.
  • Work with raw material suppliers to understand current raw materials and implement RM based improvements.
  • Conduct analytical studies to support product improvement and troubleshoot root causes for commercial products.
  • Apply the scientific process, knowledge, and experience to resolve technical problems.
  • Prioritize work to meet deadline and align with project goals while working under pressure.
  • Document test results, specifications, and procedures in a standard professional format
  • Create strong relationships with internal/external groups, as well as external vendors
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Key Attributes and Characteristics

 

  • Minimum of BS in chemistry, polymer science, materials science, chemical engineering, or related disciplines. Higher degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in ink and coating formulation development.
  • Thermal transfer ribbon experience preferred.
  • Gravure and Flexographic printing and coating experiences preferred.
  • Broad knowledge with respect to the principles of printing, coating, surface energy, interfacial energy, wetting physics, morphology, solubility, and mechanical performance.
  • Proven track record of successfully scaling and transferring technology from lab to commercial scale by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of analytical methodologies required to design a formulation or process.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property on an international scale.
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with stage gate process.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with internal customers and interact effectively with all levels in organization.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze complex data, and solve problems where appropriate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment, quickly learning new techniques and processes.
  • Strong sense of teamwork, passionate for group success, and reliable to take on last-minute tasks.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ Primary responsibility is for the Safety, Quality, and Productivity of the Processing and Converting departments.
ߦ Provide daily technical support to the assigned manufacturing area. 
ߦ Responsible for the proper training of employees for maximum efficiency and outstanding quality. 
ߦ Maintains and enforces Company and Safety Policies.
ߦ Coordination of staffing for assigned departments. 
ߦ Continuously interacts with support departments on Production related issues.
ߦ Sets high standards for plant housekeeping and enforces compliance.
ߦ Provide support/coverage to other Production Supervision including off-shift coverage as needed.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:
(Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)
ߦ BS Engineering or related technical discipline, coupled with 2+ years of relevant leadership experience in a manufacturing role.
ߦ 2+ years of experience in supervision or relevant leadership role.
ߦ Ability to work 24/7 schedule; 12 hours shifts, 3 & 4 shift workweeks
ߦ Work schedule flexibility to optimize cross shift communication and interaction with all peers and direct reports.
ߦ Above average PC skills to include MS Office Suite.
ߦ Strong leadership, communication analytical, and mentoring skills.
ߦ Excellent organizational skills.  Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and priorities.
ߦ Ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of the organization.
ߦ Shift Schedule: 7pm-7am every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & every other Saturday

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
ߦ Continuous safe and efficient operation of auto slitting machines and shrink wrap cell, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
ߦ Perform daily audits and accountable for quality.
ߦ Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
ߦ Daily tool inspection and accountability.
ߦ Monitor machine status and communicate issues to Lead and Supervisor in a timely manner.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

ߦ Minimum six months machine operation experience required.
ߦ Previous slitter or splitter experience preferred; experience with robotics a plus.
ߦ Good math and reading skills, including the ability to interpret slitting specifications and standard operating procedures.
ߦ Demonstrated, good troubleshooting skills.
ߦ Basic computer skills, AX knowledge preferred.
ߦ Knowledge of packing requirements preferred.
ߦ Possess positive interpersonal skills to perform effectively in a team environment.
