Jackie Pyc first joined IIMAK 10 years ago as a senior account manager, handling accounts all across the USA for thermal transfer ribbon sales. She brings a great deal of personality to IIMAK. She always talks about the future with her customers and how our company can help their business grow and flourish with their thermal transfer ribbon sales. QUESTION: Compared to Other Places You Have Worked, What Differentiates IIMAK? 

Answer: The professionalism and longevity of the workforce. IIMAK has always given us the respect and encouragement we need, and I feel that's why so many of us have been here as long as we have.  

QUESTION: What Motivates You To Wake Up And Go To Work & Why?

Answer: Besides having a strong work ethic, I feel that I am incredibly self-motivated for success. I don't not like letting people down, especially myself.

QUESTION: What is the Best Part About Your Job?

Answer: The best part of my job is meeting new people and developing new relationships with customers. It truly brings me joy when I get a new customer on board, knowing that they trust me and IIMAK for all their thermal transfer ribbon needs.

QUESTION: What Did You Wish To Become When You Grew Up?

Answer: I wanted to be a crossing guard lady when I was little.

QUESTION: If You Could Read Minds, Whose Would You Want To Read?

Answer: I would want to read my son's mind.

QUESTION: What's one thing that you've learned at IIMAK that has helped shape your career & Why?

Answer: I have learned that change is the only constant, and you need to be able to adjust. IIMAK has been very focused on changing with our times on many different levels, which makes me excited for its future and the future of TTR.

QUESTION: How Do You Define Success?

Answer: Success to me is finishing something that I put my mind to and doing it so that I can look back and know I did everything I could have done to achieve it.

QUESTION: How Do You Prefer To Start And End Your Day?

Answer: I try to start and end my day on a positive note, and it's one thing I recommend everyone does. You never want to shut your computer down and walk out of the building, feeling like you had a bad workday.

QUESTION: What Was Your First Job? 

Answer: My first job was working at York Steak House. I eventually went on to manage four different locations throughout my nine years there.

QUESTION: What's Your Guilty Pleasure?

Answer: I enjoy a really good fine glass of dry red wine.

QUESTION: What Advice Do You Have For Younger Generations Looking To Pursue A Sales Career?

Answer: Don't ever be afraid to ask questions, and don't feel like you're supposed to know everything. You will never advance or grow in your career if you don't ask questions.

QUESTION: What Was The First And The Last Concert You Attended?

Answer: I was never into music when I was young, so I don't recall the 1st one. The last one I attended was a reenactment of what was dubbed "The Last Waltz" from the 1976 concert by The Band on Thanksgiving Day.

QUESTION: What's One Skill You Think Everyone Should Learn & Why?

Answer: I think effective communication skills are the most important. Knowing how to communicate with customers, co-workers, managers, or prospects is key to a successful career. If you can't communicate, sales will likely be a challenging career for you to succeed in.
